Married under the ancient Linden Tree on the front lawn, beautiful formal photos on the beach, and a rocking party at the Linx Pavilion, this day started and ended like a fairy tale!

The weather was perfect for the beautiful outdoor ceremony and the crowd was fired up to have a great time, which of course they did! A delicious sit-down dinner of prime rib and chicken cordon blu provided the energy for this spirited group to party hardy right up to the last dance!

Kerry & Colleen enjoyed a day they could have only dreamed of for their beach ceremony in late September……warm and beautiful! Surrounded by their wonderful family and friends it was a perfect moment for them to cherish forever. Now throw in a rocking wedding reception at the fabulous Sheraton Four Points where Nikki and her attentive staff kept the crowd very pleased with great service and DJ Kelly spinning the tunes it was simply the definition of an amazing destination wedding!

On a wonderfully warm day under a foggy backdrop at the Lighthouse Inn in Dennis this was a very cool setting to have a Cape Cod wedding. And with Bill Sherman at the Lighthouse taking great care of keeping everyone happy with delicious food and great service the foghorns were blasting in celebration of this great day!

It was one of the most popular and busiest wedding dates of the year….9-10-11! On a perfect summer day the beautiful Misha & handsome Tim enjoyed the amazing surroundings of the Red Jacket Resort here on Cape Cod along with their sizable bridal party (14) that included Tessy the puppy who behaved very nicely for a baby!! The timing of the ceremony allowed us to wrap up the photo session with our bride & groom at sunset to make this day even more spectacular!

A wonderful time was had by all at the Chatham Bars Inn for a beautiful wedding under sunny skies on Sunday!
I had to prepare myself a bit for this one….a bridal party made up with 7 kids and most under the age of 5. But they were great all day and angels for 1 minute……and that’s all we needed! Congratulations to Diane & Dave, our brave and patient couple who were rewarded with a perfect wedding day with lot’s of laughter and no crying!!!

Jennifer Perry made sure all 180 guests were well taken care of while the World Premier Band rocked it big time!

Just a fabulous wedding on Sunday for Katie,  Derek and 150 lucky family and friends in attendance  at the Coonamessett Inn.  We love it when we have a little extra time for photos, and because of a slight gap in the timeline between the church and reception we were able to take bridal party photos at both the Nobska Lighhouse & Falmouth Heights Beach.  Later we did the family photos in front of the gazebo at the Coonamessett Inn before heading inside to a reception that had everyone partying the night away with authority!

Engagement Session Fun

I teamed up with my daughter Jocie for this very cool engagement session with Manda & Tom on Monday. It wasn’t long before I stepped back and let Jocie do her thing as she delivered a range of casual and edgy photos…..but mostly just fun! Too bad we have to wait till May to work with them again…..but it’s something to look forward to!!

This was our first wedding at the gallery and we really enjoyed the unique surroundings of this spacious venue. Mess With the Dress

Diane & Bill, our couple from this weekend at the Chatham Bars Inn, are still on the Cape on their honeymoon…..and they weren’t quite done with us yet! Diana had really been looking forward to our Mess With the Dress session since she booked us last year for their wedding. And just like their wedding day, the weather was perfect again on Tuesday! But this was not just a job….it was an adventure! Diana & Bill wanted to capture this day on their AWESOME high perfomance 31′ Formula Cruiser….and naturally we were all over that!! Assisted by the talented Kristen Dawn Coombs, we may have had more fun than they did! Here is just a small sample of the session!

What a glorious day for Diana & Bill at the Chatham Bars Inn on Friday night! This couple deserved an amazing wedding and they got it…..times 10! With Clarissa & Enrico of the CBI overseeing all the details, the beautiful floral arrangements by Meredith of Fancy Flowers, the relaxed and cool sounds of The Accent Band, hair & Makeup by Lisa George and photos by Frank & Helen Coombs this wedding was nothing short of perfection!

Helen and I had a blast literally as we stopped by the Flying Bridge for food, fun and fireworks on the 4th of July! Tyler & Darlene hooked us up with a front row table to witness the fireworks extravaganza right on the harbor, and later we visited with Danny Walsh who added to the occasion with awesome red,white and blue uplighting!! It was a great evening as I enjoyed a delicious lobster dinner and Helen had the Shrimp Scampi and a few frozen cocktails to celebrate our nation’s birthday!

Erin & Brendan enjoyed perfect weather at their Popponnesset Inn wedding last night! Actually now that I think of it everything was perfect. From the delicious sit down meal served up by Wilma Lopez and the terrific staff at Poppy, to the always amazing flowers by Judy at All About Flowers, and of course the perfect music mix by Keith Lemire to keep the dance floor full all night! And as you can see our beautiful couple were perfectly content having the times of their lives!

I got an opportunity to check out Cape Cod Restaurant’s awesome soon-to-be acquisition….The Red Horse Inn at Falmouth Heights. This beautiful property has dozens of great rooms that will be a tremendous convenience to many wedding couples and families of the Coonamessett Inn & Flying Bridge who in the past may have had a little difficulty finding accommodations for their out of town guests. Rumor has it more info will be coming soon!!

Ellen & John's Beach Wedding

Ellen & John were married on a foggy but very romantic night at Nauset Beach in Orleans on Tuesday. The thick blanket of fog that had rolled in it created a true Cape Cod ambiance, but our beautiful couple only had eyes for each other as they exchanged vows with guidance from Justice of the Peace Lucien Poyant and John’s beautiful daughter Sophia. After a quick stop for photos at Skaket Beach where the visibility was clear, it was on to their hotel at the Chatham Bars Inn which provided a stately backdrop for some eloquent photos of the new family. Congratulations Ellen & John, we hope you enjoy the rest of your Cape Cod wedding/honeymoon vacation!

This wedding was flat out fun! The day began with a beautiful reveal shot at the Judah Baker Windmill when Corey laid eyes on Andrea for the first time in her magnificent gown. And then it was on to the Red Jacket Resort where a memorable ceremony was performed by Uncle Ken on the lawn that overlooks Nantucket Sound. With the great work of Sally (and of course Brian) at the Red Jacket, Mark Freedman and Lionel rockin the house with their party-time activities and tunes and add an absolutely wonderful group of family and friends and you had a perfect recipe for a great wedding!

Kathleen & Matthew had the times of their lives and this celebration rocked till midnight with Aaron at the Poppy overseeing all the details and Cape Tunes spinning the discs!!

A beautiful evening was spent on the dunes with our new friends Colleen & Brendan as we spent some quality time taking fun photos on the beach at sunset. We probably won’t be taking too many beach photos on their wedding day since they are getting married on New Years Eve, but we do have some creative things planned are really looking forward to a great time with this fun couple rocking in the new year!!

Helen and I were proud to have provided our services again as WE CAN presents the 7th Annual Day of Words, Wit & Wisdom at the Wychmere Harbor Club in Harwich this week. This wonderful organization provides services and assistance to women in transition to achieve positive lasting change for themselves and their families. Dorothy Stoneman, founder & president of YouthBuild USA received WE CAN’s 2011 Woman of the Year award.

What an AMAZING day we had with Shawn & Stephen in Provincetown on Tuesday!  Our day began at the Provincetown Inn where our couple has vacationed for years and even got engaged there last May.  The ceremony was performed at Alfredo’s on the Bay,  a beautiful and spacious room overlooking the beach and Provincetown Harbor.  The intimate ceremony was performed by Reverand Nancy Wurlitzer which was written  by Stephen & Shawn and the music was provided by Scott Rosenthal of Cape Tunes which really set the mood.  After a brief photo session around the Inn, we boarded a four-wheel drive vehicle from Art’s Dune Tours and toured the beautiful dunes of Provincetown.  Midway thru the tour we stopped on the beach for a delicious fireside barbeque picnic featuring chicken and ribs as the brilliant red sun set perfectly over Cape Cod Bay.  A truly memorable evening for a really great couple.
