Just a fabulous wedding on Sunday for Katie,  Derek and 150 lucky family and friends in attendance  at the Coonamessett Inn.  We love it when we have a little extra time for photos, and because of a slight gap in the timeline between the church and reception we were able to take bridal party photos at both the Nobska Lighhouse & Falmouth Heights Beach.  Later we did the family photos in front of the gazebo at the Coonamessett Inn before heading inside to a reception that had everyone partying the night away with authority!

Engagement Session Fun

I teamed up with my daughter Jocie for this very cool engagement session with Manda & Tom on Monday. It wasn’t long before I stepped back and let Jocie do her thing as she delivered a range of casual and edgy photos…..but mostly just fun! Too bad we have to wait till May to work with them again…..but it’s something to look forward to!!

Borsari Wedding

Helen & I photographed a great wedding yesterday at the Borsari Gallery in Dennis on Saturday! This was our first wedding at the gallery and we really enjoyed the unique surroundings of this spacious venue. Kathy & Bob Borsari took great care of everyone and all the details, and Chapin’s provided the delicious meals! Wedding photos coming soon!!

Mess With the Dress

Diane & Bill, our couple from this weekend at the Chatham Bars Inn, are still on the Cape on their honeymoon…..and they weren’t quite done with us yet! Diana had really been looking forward to our Mess With the Dress session since she booked us last year for their wedding. And just like their wedding day, the weather was perfect again on Tuesday! But this was not just a job….it was an adventure! Diana & Bill wanted to capture this day on their AWESOME high perfomance 31′ Formula Cruiser….and naturally we were all over that!! Assisted by the talented Kristen Dawn Coombs, we may have had more fun than they did! Here is just a small sample of the session!

What a glorious day for Diana & Bill at the Chatham Bars Inn on Friday night! This couple deserved an amazing wedding and they got it…..times 10! With Clarissa & Enrico of the CBI overseeing all the details, the beautiful floral arrangements by Meredith of Fancy Flowers, the relaxed and cool sounds of The Accent Band, hair & Makeup by Lisa George and photos by Frank & Helen Coombs this wedding was nothing short of perfection!

Cape Cod Photographers at the Flying Bridge

Helen and I had a blast literally as we stopped by the Flying Bridge for food, fun and fireworks on the 4th of July! Tyler & Darlene hooked us up with a front row table to witness the fireworks extravaganza right on the harbor, and later we visited with Danny Walsh who added to the occasion with awesome red,white and blue uplighting!! It was a great evening as I enjoyed a delicious lobster dinner and Helen had the Shrimp Scampi and a few frozen cocktails to celebrate our nation’s birthday!

Popponesset Inn Wedding on Cape Cod

Erin & Brendan enjoyed perfect weather at their Popponnesset Inn wedding last night! Actually now that I think of it everything was perfect. From the delicious sit down meal served up by Wilma Lopez and the terrific staff at Poppy, to the always amazing flowers by Judy at All About Flowers, and of course the perfect music mix by Keith Lemire to keep the dance floor full all night! And as you can see our beautiful couple were perfectly content having the times of their lives!
